Antonia was born out of love and family.

The name comes from my sister, one of the artisans involved in this project. Although that's not her real name, we've always affectionately called her "Toña"... and that's how Antonia was born.

It all started when I first saw a piece of Huichol art at a friend's house, who is now also part of this project. I was amazed: the level of detail, the colors, the patience behind each design… everything felt different, special, and full of history.

At that moment, I wanted to understand everything: who did it, how it was done, and how difficult it was to achieve something like that. I even tried to do it myself, buying materials… and that's when I understood that this art is much more complex than it seems.

From that day on, I began a search through different parts of Mexico, testing, creating ideas, and choosing only those who work with true quality, dedication, and attention to detail.

Meanwhile, my sister had been creating decorative pieces for the home as a hobby for years. Handmade textiles and objects, using marble, ceramics, and fabric, capable of transforming any space and adapting to the needs of each client.

Over time, and seeking new ways to incorporate this art into something more accessible and everyday, the third category was born: clothing , bringing craftsmanship to something that can be worn every day. With pieces carefully hand-embroidered and unique, simple, and special designs.

And so, Antonia became a perfect blend: artisanal art + home + design.

A brand that celebrates handmade work, detail, tradition and the beauty of authenticity.
